Hi Everyone, I'm very tired today as I spent most of it listening to government people telling us about the changes for people with disabilities.

It is hard to work on layouts and designs when you have a headache just listening. I am sure I am becoming a cynic in my industry.

Anyway, don't run away - NEWS - I am having a sale at Scrapbookers Playground - all my kits are 25% off. Get them now as I am going to retire all my kits I made in 2005 at the end of June. Its a No Reason sale as I have no reason to put them all on sale.LOL.

Here is a LO made by Karin McCombes from my crochet Times kit. this kit is available at Scrapbookers Playground, The scrapping Garden and Digitals.

I am offering to send anyone a surprise kit for free if they buy my Crochet Times kits and email me a link to the LO they have posted.

Well, I have been away on holidays. My husband and I travelled to Kalbarri, 600 kms north of where we live. It is about a 7 hour drive, with a few added stops to let out the dogs for a walk. Kalbarri is on the mouth of the Murchison River and a pretty place to visit. There is a parrot breeding centre called Rainbow Jungle. I am not a particular bird fancier, but thought I would go for a visit.

I got some amazing photos of Love Birds. These are such beautiful birds and I was so surprised when I downloaded my photos onto the laptop. You see, I was taking these photos through the bars of the cage.

Here is a layout I did, using one of these photos. Of course I have had to design a kit using the colours of these birds. The colours are so bright that unless you saw the photo of the bird you would not believe I was using colours from nature.

come back here in a couple of days to get news of this kit and where to get a freebie add-on to the kit.
I need to polish the kit up a bit and add a few more elements. I didnt have all my brushes etc loaded onto my laptop.

Well I have finished my crochet kit called Crochet Times. Here is a preview. I have crocheted for more than 45 years, having been taught by my sewing teacher because I was disruptive in sewing classes. I have crocheted from very fine work up to thick warm afghan rugs. The two doileys in this kit are ones I crocheted a few years ago. See the crochet hook with one? It is a beaituful hand made one that I bought off ebay.

I wonder others think of this kit as it is one of my favourites and came together in very quick time. For a few hours, well probably a day, I am offering a free "To Do" list here. Just click and copy the jpg image that you see. You can print three of these lists onto a A4 sized piece of paper, to use as you want.I am doing up a printables kit to put on sale soon.

Also had a bit of retail therapy by buying a beautiful red knitted top that is sort of layered and have seen my daughters new summer fashion range that is being taken to New York in September. after going to my Rotary meeting I am headed for bed.

It is great to not have to go to work for two whole weeks - although I do have to go in onWednesday for an hour. I have finally finished a kit I have been trying to finish for ages. Its called Red Roses. Here is a preview. the red rose image is from a photograph of a rose I have in my garden. Unfortunately I dont know its name.

Watch out for the printables and the mini 6x6 album I am making to compliment this kit.

Off to peel the vegies for our roast chichken. I can smell the chicken from here and am getting very hungary.

I am workign on a crochet styled kit - not sure how it is going at the moment though.

Hi everyone, at last I am on two weeks holidays. The first week is home and the second week we are travelling to Kalbarri about 500 miles north of where we live. Here is a link to Kalbarri if anyone is interested in Western Australia.

My Iris kit is being used for a challenge at Scrapbookers Playground. Have a look at this Impromptu Challenge as it looks like a lot of fun. I have just completed my Iris printables set, comprising of 2 bookmarks,1 "to do" list, 2 labels (same size as digital artist trading cards or tags) and a beautiful note card.

To celebrate starting my holidays I will send anyone who takes part in this challenge a set of these printables for free. I will need your email address which can be sent to ebears@wn.com.au once you have uploaded your two Layouts. This offer stands until Wednesday 10th May at midnight EST which is midday Thursday my time here in Western Australia. This is in addition to what the site is offering. (I am just glad to be on holidays)

The preview of these printables is shown above. (They will be going into the store at Scrapbbokers Playground after May 10). All you have to do is print out the printables onto light card and use as you wish. There is plenty of room to just choose one item by copying it and pasting onto card. Bookmarks are great to use the left over paper from when you have printed out an 8 x 8 layout on 8 x 11 photo paper.

I have come home sick - feeling poorly in the tummy - the take away dinner last night is suspect. I put a counter and a clock on the blog last night. I was curious to see how many people come for the freebie. Wow, I didnt realise so many people would come for something like my lucky dip.

Thanks to those of you who have taken the time to say thanks in the comments - it is much appreciated. It would be nice to hear from more people.

Gosh I didn't realise it had been so long since my last post. I attended an all day rotary function on Sunday at a place called Collie. It was so cold and my toes were freezing. I am still unable to wear closed in shoes, although it has been 6 weeks since I broke two bones in my foot.

My husband is away on a business trip so I thought I would clean up my computer files for a while. I found I had a file with some bits and pieces in it from when I was trying things out and practising. I have two pages and two elements bundled up in a "Lucky Dip". I'll put them up free here on the blog for 24 hours then I will delete them from the hard drive. They arent co-ordinated as I was just practising. Click on LUCKY DIP to get your surprise.

what have I been doing? Not a lot as work and Rotary have intruded on my scrapping time. But I have done this LO. The caravan doodle is mine. I am thinking of doing a camping doodle kit. What do you think?

This is in response to an element challenge at RAKS.
