South Australia…………….Day 5

27 March 2914:

Last night we camped at the 13 KM Peg past Border Town. We had stopped here for lunch and then decided to stay the night. We also moved ahead in time and now it is getting dark about 8pm and dawn is now about 7.30am. South Australia are on day light saving so at the moment we are waking up in the dark. This is OK for photographers like me who hate getting up in the morning. Here is this morning’s dawn.

The four caravans left and later we stopped for morning tea at a lookout on the Australian Bight. Unfortunately when you are doing these trips you can’t choose your time as far as the sun goes but here is the view.

Denise & John and us parted company with the other 2 caravans who were going to Fowlers Bay at Nadoo Roadhouse. We decided to stay at the caravan park at Pardong. The park is a fabulous little neat & tidy park. It was exciting to have hot showers as our hot water system decided to have a hissy fit and not work. For Lance & I it has been bucket showers for the last 3 days. Of course we won the award for having the most water left in our tanks.

Tomorrow we are camping up at Ceduna for a look around, for 3 days.
