10 June 2014
Things can change at a moments notice. I had started the pack up routine this morning and decided to go to the toilet. By the time I had come back, the other 3 had decided to stay here at Gulargambone another day.
It has been a lovely sunny day and our wonderful hosts, Dave and Bernie, put on morning tea for the 4 caravans still in the park. I had made blueberry muffins which we added to the table. Then Lance became enthusiastic about washing our caravan after watching John wash his yesterday.
Both caravans are shiny clean until the next dirty puddle we go through. Another couple in the park was also washing their van.
Our next piece of excitement was watching John try out his new chain saw. We lined up to watch, with Lance providing sounds effects.
Even the animals in the back paddock had lined up at the fence, with the turkeys providing their sound effects.
Finally the star of the show was ready and we heard the familiar sound of the chain saw break the beautiful silence of the park.
The plan tonight is to stay another day, but that could all change when I next go to the toilet.
