On the twenty first day of December I would love to see some sanity returned in my community - the traffic is horrific, I cant get parking at the shopping centre, and it is like a feeding frenzy. Today I had a work Christmas party on the foreshore in Mandurah, Western Australia. Normally it is 10 minutes by car from my office. Today it was 1/2 and hour!!!!. The old bridge was right beside where we were having the party. This photo is taken under the bridge.

Love the photos and thats they way I feel about when all the snowbirds are down where I live here in Florida. They just crowd up everything and they aren't very good drivers either. hehehe

I hate to go to the stores during December no matter where we are. Be careful out there though. Near my parents home at a local mall, a mother and her 8 yr. old daughter was found shot to death in their car. This is the time all the crazies come out of the woodwork and every one needs to be extra careful.

Love the photo Joan. Hope that once you got through the traffic, you were able to unwind and enjoy the party.

Hi Joan,
I know how frustrating it can be creeping along in the traffic.

Here in Dubai/Sharjah I got caught in traffic - it took me 2 hours to get home from work cos I took the wrong way round! Normally it's a half hour drive.

Have a great Xmas - enjoy all the parties of the season!
