25th April 2014
ANZAC Day and we were all up for the Dawn Service at 6.30am. a much smaller crowd than what we see at Dawesville, our home.
Afterwards John & Denise decided to head for Adelaide to visit a cemetery and saw many good things like a chocolate factory.
We had a quiet day in Kapunda and checked out a few things we hadn’t seen before. One was the Kapunda railway station that is now converted into a Bed & Breakfast. we could see parts of the old railway line and the rail workshops.
After having a look at the old copper mine site we drove past the Catholic Church, an amazing piece of architecture.
Back at camp Lance raised the Australian flag on our caravan in respect of ANZAC Day.
