Todays photo was taken in Paris. The building hidden behind the trees is the beautiful Notre Darme Cathedral. We had taken a river cruise on the Seine River. We bought a day ticket and hopped on and off as we liked for the day.
These little cafes were everywhere in Paris and highly popular. What we found interesting was that all the chairs faced outwards towards the road, so customers could watch the world go by. Even inside the cafe, all the chairs faced towards the window. Spring was in the air and so the Parisians were outdoors in force.

Meanwhile here at home we have been faced with bushfires just 20 kms south of us which were lit deliberately by some one. Not content with 1 fire, he lit 7 fires!!!! 9 houses were burnt down, horse burnt and a great deal of damage. I wonder what this person was thinking of as he touched match to the grass alongside the Forrest Highway.
