Ceduna………….Day 6 & 7

28th March 2014:

We had a short day today (Friday) as we drove from Pernong to Ceduna. We had our caravan checked as we came into Ceduna by Quantine who discovered a container of salad I had forgotten about. The officer through out my salad and washed the container before handing it back to me. I must say, he was very polite about it. We are staying at the A1 Cabins & Caravan Park, a very old cabin and caravan park. Its not fancy but its cheap.

29 March 2014 – Saturday:

We rolled out of bed at 7am in the dark and there was mist everywhere.

I went down to the foreshore after breakfast to take some photos of the mist.

We decided to take a drive to Smokey Bay to have a look.

While having morning tea we noticed a lot of people on the long jetty. A closer look showed people with crab nets crabbing. Lance & I had our crab nets in the car and a bucket and we found some bait where the fishermen clean their fish. An hour or so later we all got back into our cars with 14 crabs, enough for our tea tonight. Tea cost us the price of 4 slices of bread each.
