Point Turton………………Day 14

6 April 2014

We left our comfortable spot in Maitland and drove to almost the bottom of the Yorke Peninsula to Point Turton which is such a beautiful spot. We got here around lunch time and quickly changed our booking from 2 nights to 3 nights. No photos tonight.

There are a lot of little bays with small populations on the Yorke Peninsula with a rich history of Tall Ships calling in to load up with wheat and barley. These days the grain is sent to large ports like Port Pirie for shipping. So many old buildings in the area are still being lived in and I saw a man enter an old church which is now his home.
