Our last day in Roma was a beautiful sunny day without a cloud in the sky. However the nights are cold which by 6pm you can feel.
We had a last look at Roma, feilled up with fuel, and water and spent our afternoon soaking in the sun. Men did chores and Denise and I read and did cross word puzzles.
By now we are starting to meet up with the same people we have met before. Sue and John were with us at St George, Surat and now here in Roma. Kerry who we met in Bendigo has arrived and came to talk to us while some others we met at Gulargambone have arrived in the same park as us here at Roma. We greet each other like old friends as we meet at a new stop.
No photos today. Our plan is to start traveling further west tomorrow towards Longreach in outback Queensland. Why Longreach? Its famous for its Stockman’s Hall Of Fame and there are heaps of other things to do. However as you all know, by the time I have walked Kurgan and gone to the toilet, this could all change.
I will post when I have internet connection, not sure when though as we may be bush camping for a few days.
