Isn’t it amazing how the best laid plans often never happen, like us leaving for Mareeba today.
We packed up and put the caravan onto the car and just had to put the sway bars on when Lance noticed a strange sound from the car.
On checking it out he found the oil for the power steering had disappeared. We rang the RACQ who quickly came out and towed the car away. I hour later we receive the phone call that they don’t have the hose that has split and wont get it until next Monday. So we are here for another 6 days.
We rang the RAC in West Australia who organised a hire car for us and will pay for our accommodation for the extra nights. After paying for our membership for years, it has finally benefitted us.
Kurgan is confused about getting into the car to go then having to get out and watch the car disappear without anyone in it.
