We didn’t do a lot today as we all wanted to soak up the view we had from our caravan. JOhn, Eric & I decided to do the tour of the OneSteel complex. I didn’t understand a lot of what the guide was saying but there were a lot of photo opportunities, even though we were confined to the little bus. We saw a truck pouring water into a slag heap.
We weren’t able to see the whole process as construction on new plant etc caused part of the plant to be non accessible.
We did however get a good look at the coke plant. We saw molten coke coming out of the burner which was a real photo opportunity.
