Today we made the trip from Whyalla to Port Augusta. Although we would have loved to stay a few more days at Whyalla we all knew we had to keep moving otherwise we would not complete our journey.
We headed towards Port August knowing we were going to be saying goodbye to Carol & Alan who are going to explore the Great Ocean Road while we travel up through the centre. There was a light drizzle of rain and with Lance acting as our intrepid leader, we managed to find a roadside shelter for morning tea and where we said our goodbyes.

We arrived at Port Augusta around lunch time and after a cuppa with feet up, we went for a drive around the town. We drove around the central business district which is in the historic part of Port Augusta. This is the waterfront of Port Augusta.
