Our last day here, a place I would be happy to return to. We got a cheerful welcome when we arrived and were here only 2 hours when we decided to have an extra day here. The Point Turton Caravan Park is close to the water and has lovely grassed caravan sites. If you are on the Yorke Peninsula, this is a great place to stay. Kurgan just loved having some grass beneath him for a change.
Even the slight drizzle of rain didn’t present any problems for us. It wasn’t much of a drizzle and even Kurgan put up with the few drops while he went for a walk. The slight drizzle started the rain jokes and sudden bursts of singing “Just singing in the rain”.
We decided to have a Roast Day so off we went to Warooka to the butcher who had finally returned from Adelaide. I must say his roast beef, (Denise’s buy) and my Lamb Roast leg were such tender pieces of meat. So good in fact that we are going back tomorrow to buy another couple of roasts to freeze for our next Roast night.
I was lucky to see this Dog In A Car at the Point Turton boat ramp, waiting for his human to come back from fishing on the beach.
………and this small sail ship was just off the jetty briefly.
